A few people have flown here to mallorca to train and I have taught at a few clubs as a guest when I am in the UK.
I love to come and run an extended day training working with people for different martial arts. What I will try to get accross in that day hours is the essence of our training. In particular how it differs from YOUR training. One day is not a lot to get more than a flavour of a system, but if you have heard about White Crane kung fu, and always wondered, then I try to give you a pretty accurate impression of what is practiced at the Source in China where it has been practiced widely for hundreds of year.
I very much believe that a good grounding in your own style helps you to explore other styles, and that once you have a good grounding, taking time out to look at other styles helps you in your own training. Otherwise, you are just "fighting mirrors" and the martial arts becomes "mutual therapy" - which is also great! but goes a bit in bred if not careful I feel. May be at the end you will have a feel for why I think this is a great system with a lifetime of study in it...but if not, at the very least a fine day training a bit off the edge of certainty with people from other schools and styles.
